I am based in Te Awamutu where I live with with my wife and four boys I have been in business in the Waikato for about 10 years now trading as Big Kid Films. Living as a filmmaker in a small town means I am pretty diverse in what I work on, but I really enjoy working with authentic people and have a passion for creative communication. I am also pretty involved in coaching cricket, boxing, and generally chasing my kids around their various activities.

Industry Experience

I have made my way so far as a self taught director/editor. Being based in Te Awamutu means that I am limited with my contact into any formal roles in the industry - however I have had some success - winning a Tui in 2016 for NZs best music video and have been on camera or directed projects for both Hamilton and Auckland based Agencies.

Other Skills & Experience

My strengths are in creative engagement in communication. I am comfortable behind the camera but really enjoy working with talent as a director. I have a background in youth development and have worked on a number of documentary shoots and multiple music videos. I have experience working for large corporates as well not for profit organizations and would love more opportunities to direct projects at a larger scale
