Terms & Conditions (Website + Paid Listings)

Welcome to the Waikato Screen website (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using this website (including purchasing a listing or service through it), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

  1. About Waikato Screen

Waikato Screen supports the screen sector and promotes film-friendly services, crew and talent across the Waikato region. Our website includes:

  • Crew directory listings (free and paid tiers)
  • Preferred supplier/business listings
  • Sponsorship opportunities and related promotion


  1. Website Use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to:

  • Misuse, disrupt, hack or damage the website
  • Upload harmful or misleading content
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Use directory data for spam, scraping, or unsolicited marketing

We may restrict or remove access if we believe these Terms have been breached.

  1. Directory Listings & Memberships

Waikato Screen offers paid and free listing options for businesses and crew. Listings may be submitted by:

  • Direct sign-up through the website, or
  • Invitation by Waikato Screen

All listings are subject to approval at our discretion to ensure alignment with the screen industry and community standards.

We may decline, pause, remove, or request edits to a listing if:

  • Content is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or inappropriate
  • It breaches these Terms or relevant laws
  • It creates reputational or operational risk
  • Payment is overdue, reversed, or disputed


  1. Business Preferred Supplier Listings (Annual)


Annual listing fees are tiered based on business size:

  • Small Local Business (less than 10 employees): $95 per year
  • Larger Business Supplier: $179 per year
  • Nationwide Corporation: $224 per year


Listing benefits vary by plan and may be updated over time. Benefits are described on our Pricing Page.

  1. Crew Directory Listings

Crew members may choose one of the following options:

  • Standard (Free): basic listing
  • Premiere ($32 per annum): enhanced listing features including (but not limited to) additional skills and improved visibility
  • Executive ($68 per annum): premium features including (but not limited to) showreel inclusion and promotional opportunities

Features may change slightly over time as the business evolves.

  1. Payments

Where paid services are offered, payments are processed securely via our chosen payment provider (e.g., Stripe). You agree to provide accurate billing details and authorise payment for your selected plan.

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise.

If GST applies, it will be shown at checkout or on the invoice.

  1. Renewals

Annual listings and subscriptions are charged on a 12-month basis unless stated otherwise.

Unless your plan is set up as auto-renewing, it is your responsibility to renew before expiry if you wish to remain listed.

If auto-renew is enabled, you authorise us to charge the renewal fee on the renewal date.

  1. Downgrades & Cancellations

You may request a downgrade or cancellation at any time by contacting us at info@waikatoscreen.nz

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise agreed.

  1. Refunds

Refund eligibility is outlined in our Refund & Cancellations Policy.

  1. Accuracy & No Guarantee of Work

We aim to provide a high-quality directory and screen-sector opportunities, but we do not guarantee:

  • job offers
  • work engagements
  • production bookings
  • lead volume
  • enquiries or conversion outcomes

Listings increase visibility but do not guarantee results.

  1. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, services, or privacy practices.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (including branding, text, design elements and resources) is owned by Waikato Screen or used with permission. You may not copy or reproduce content without written consent.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waikato Screen is not liable for any loss arising from:

  • reliance on directory content
  • interactions between users of the directory
  • technical outages
  • loss of data
  • third-party payment errors

  1. Sponsorship

Waikato Screen offers sponsorship opportunities from time to time. Sponsorship arrangements and benefits are subject to availability and agreement.
