Hiya! I am an animator from New Zealand that specializes in 2D animation. I graduated Yoobee College Auckland (City Rd) in 2024 with the Bachelor of Animation Majoring in Story & Character and earned the Excellence award for best animated short film 2024 ‘Journey To Nowhere’. Animation & Filmmaking has always been my passion ever since I was a kid, I grew up watching iconic films and TV productions (as every animator does), I was also inspired by the flash games i played as a kid (Animal Jam, Club Penguin etc) and loved indie animations on YouTube (like multi-animator music videos)

Outside of animation, I once had the opportunity to do voice acting in Auckland’s Department of Post to remaster the voice acting & audio for Journey To Nowhere as part of the prize for receiving 1st place. Our audio engineer Jo Walker was highly impressed by my voice acting skills and has advised me to seek a talent agency for voice acting.

Industry Experience

Currently I am employed on contract with Native Tech Rotorua to create animated mini-episodes of Ngati Manawa Maori history.
My role is lead post-production / video editor and use Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. my main tasks in this role is compiling the art, animation (as PNG sequences), music, sound effects and voice overs into AE / Pr to create animatics in pre-production and the final product in post-production.
Other roles i have participated in is 2D animator / character & art asset artist, storyboard artist, script writer and file management. I primarily used Toon Boom Harmony and Photoshop for the art & animation.

I was formerly a comic & animation clean-up (and colour) artist for the webcomic 'The Backwards House'
I primarily used Clip Studio Paint for the comic and Toon Boom Harmony for animated promotional videos for The Backwards House
