Join our participant pool for paid healthcare simulation work supporting University of Waikato students.

Waikato Screen is coordinating a pool of Standardised Patients (participants) to take part in structured role-play scenarios that support student learning and assessment across Nursing, Midwifery and Practitioner programmes.

This partnership with the University of Waikato is part of Waikato Screen’s broader role in supporting our region – creating local employment opportunities, connecting people to work, and building capability across our community. It also aligns with our experience in sourcing, preparing and coordinating talent for screen productions, applied here in a structured training environment.

This is a professional, supportive environment where you will interact with students in realistic scenarios while they are being assessed by tutors.

Participants are selected based on suitability, reliability, and ability to follow direction, with opportunities available across multiple sessions throughout the year.
