Pamela Kaval is an emerging filmmaker, screenwriter, author, producer, and actor with a passion for family films, comedies, horrors, thrillers, dramas, and documentaries. She has written and produced several short films, including the multi-award-winning Mothering Sunday and Under Cover, both of which earned her accolades in writing, producing, and acting, along with numerous awards for her team. Pamela is now focusing on writing and producing feature films and series, having launched her own sustainably-minded film production company, Wildaval Productions.

Before transitioning to filmmaking, Pamela was an accomplished sustainability and biodiversity researcher and professional editor of books and academic articles. She has authored over 100 publications on topics such as endangered species, wildlife conservation, wildfire management, ecosystem services, and sustainable agriculture.

Pamela’s love for nature is a recurring theme in many of her films and books. Her middle-grade adventure novel, Getting to the Galapagos, inspired by her work trip to the Galapagos Islands, features a tortoise adventure and reflects her passion for environmental themes. This trip also ignited her passion for storytelling and filmmaking.
